The Lifetime Care Cap - Cancelled

Yesterday it was announced that the £86,000 Lifetime Cap on Care costs, due for (postponed) introduction in October 2025 will not happen. This does not come as a surprise to us given the huge cost to Local Authorities for it's implementation and ongoing maintenance.

We can advise you on your alternative options, as it may still be possible to limit the amount of capital that needs to be spent on care during your lifetime.
