Advice is comprehensive and thorough and will include:

- Verification that the local authority has conducted a correct financial assessment and correct application of the 12 week disregard

- Working out how long a client’s capital will last

- Funding methods, including a care fees payment plan

- Advice on whether to sell or rent a property or apply to the local authority for a deferred loan scheme
